Church Partnership Course

The next round of our 2-Week Church Partnership Course is happening Sunday, March 8th and Sunday, March 15th from 6pm-8pm. (You will need to attend both weeks to complete the course!)

Paul began his letter to the Philippian Church with these words:

"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,  always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."  (Phil. 1:3-6)

WHAT IS CHURCH PARTNERSHIP?

Church Partnership, commonly referred to as "church membership", describes the commitment between a follower of Jesus and a particular local church! 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 says, "Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it. And God has placed these in the church."

In the New Testament, Christians are always recognized as belonging to a specific church community where their discipleship growth is both affirmed and strengthened in the care of that church and its leaders.

WHAT DOES THE COURSE COVER?

Our Church Partnership course is a healthy balance of information and inspiration as we share the origins of Convergent Church, discuss the nature of the Church and our partnership in the gospel, what our beliefs are and who we're affiliated with, how we're governed, what our vision is, what our mission is, what our values are, and what our strategy is for seeing Christ's Kingdom come to our city!
